Dr. Robert Kalyesubula
Doctor
Dr. Robert Kalyesubula MD, PhD is a senior lecturer, nephrologist and Head of department Physiology at Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MakCHS). Dr. Kalyesubula holds a medical degree and a masters of internal medicine from MakCHS and did part of his residence training in McMaster University in Canada. He completed nephrology training from Yale University in USA and earned a PhD in epidemiology of NCDs from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has worked on kidney disease and hypertension for the last 13 years.
Mr. Masereka Tomson
Nurse
Mr. Masereka Tomson is a Dialysis Nurse Specialist at the department of Nephrology. The Chief Dialysis Nurse Technician, BHL Kidney Care Centre. He holds an Honors Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management of Makerere University, a Diploma in Nursing from Mulago Nursing School. In addition, he attained a Diploma in Blood Purification from Tokushukai Medical Group of Hospitals - Tokyo, Japan. He works with the Uganda Kidney Foundation as a Dialysis Nurse Mentor/Trainer. He is passionate about providing quality hemodialysis treatment to patients with failed kidneys.
